About us

Started by an Odia who missed home

Tripedit was started by Sitaram, an engineer from Odisha now working in Mumbai. Every weekend away showed him how much of Odisha nobody talks about: hills that frost over, villages that protect birds, artists who paint the way their grandparents did.

So we're building the trip he wished existed: small groups, local hosts, honest prices, and someone from Odisha planning every detail.

  • Local first

Homestays, guides and cooks from the places we visit. When they earn well, the places stay protected.

  • Small groups

8–12 people, never busloads. It feels like travelling with friends.

  • Safe and honest

Clear prices with no hidden costs, and safety planned before every trip.

Meet the founder

Hi, I'm Sitaram. Odisha is home.

I grew up in a state full of places most of India has never heard of: hills that frost over in December, a lagoon where thousands of birds land every winter, villages where artists still paint the way their grandparents did.

Then I moved away, and noticed something. People fly across the world for views like these, yet Odisha rarely makes it onto anyone's travel list. Not because it isn't beautiful, but because no one shows them how.

So I started Tripedit. Small groups, local families as hosts, honest prices, and every detail planned the way I'd plan it for my own friends. Come once, and you'll leave with stories your friends won't believe are from Odisha.
